Founder's Story

For years, I thought I was just busy.

I was a nurse anesthetist with nearly two decades of clinical experience. I knew the body. I knew the science. I knew what I should be doing — the sleep, the nutrition, the stress management. I had all of it in my head. And I could not do any of it.

I was getting through the days, not living them. Wired but exhausted. Whole-body pain that I had quietly accepted as normal. Snapping at my kids in ways that broke my heart. Showing up for my patients with everything I had — and having nothing left for the people I loved most, or for myself.

The hardest part wasn't how I felt. It was that I didn't even know how far I had drifted. I had gotten so used to feeling that way that I thought it was just me. Just life. Just what being a working mother looked like.

Then I saw my biological age.

I was chronologically in my forties. My biological age came back at nearly 103. And something shifted — not into panic, but into clarity. My body wasn't failing me. It was telling me, in the most measurable terms possible, exactly how long it had been asking for something different.

That number changed everything.

I went deep — into epigenetics, hormonal health, nervous system regulation, precision nutrition, and the root causes that conventional medicine had never once explored with me. I rebuilt, slowly and deliberately. And I reversed my biological age by decades.

I became a certified functional medicine practitioner not because it was the next credential — but because I refused to let other women spend years feeling the way I felt, being told everything looked "fine" on their labs, and quietly shrinking into a version of themselves they didn't recognize.

You deserve more than fine. You deserve to know what your body is actually asking for — and to have someone in your corner who knows how to listen.

That's why I'm here.

Stephanie Doty is a Certified Nutritionist Consultant, Precision Nutrition Master Health Coach, and Psychology of Eating Coach with over two decades of experience in health, nutrition, and behavior change. She is currently pursuing Board Certification in Health and Wellness Coaching through the NBHWC.

Stephanie's approach goes beyond meal planning. In her collaboration with Elizabeth Greenfield Functional Wellness, Stephanie designs fully personalized nutrition programs tailored to each client's biology, preferences, and lifestyle. Together, Liz and Stephanie bring a precision functional medicine lens to every aspect of a woman's health — so that nothing is addressed in isolation, and nothing is left out.

I came to Liz at my wits' end, struggling from a debilitating health issue traditional medicine could not help. She has always stressed a data-based approach to understanding my health — and that's exactly what she provided.
